BHARATIYA SANGEET VIDYA VIHAR (BSVV), Kolkata is an autonomous Music Educational organization in India registered with societies Act. Govt. of West Bengal. Recognised by the Cultural Department Govt. Of West Bengal. It was established in 1972. BSVV is empowered to take examinations and issue certificates to those who have passed the examinations. This is the 50th year of the BSVV. Many of legendaries like Late Pandit Chinmay Lahiri, Pandit Arun Bhattacharya, Pandit Balkrishna Menon, Pandit Jataileshwar Mukherjee, Pandit Ramendra Chaudhury, Pandit Chandidash Mal and many more were the main founder of this Sangeet Vidya Vihar. Earlier BSVV was affiliated to Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.

Thousands of students of BSVV from India and abroad passed out the Graduate and postgraduate in Music, B.Ed Music doing their best jobs in the respective places. BSVV has a structured and technical syllabus up to Post Graduate (7th Year) level.

Bharatiya Sangeet Vidya Vihar is one of the oldest affiliating and examining bodies of India with its Headquarters in Kolkata since 1972. Since 50 years BSVV conducts examinations and awards certificates and diplomas of Prarambhik-1, Prarambhik-2, Prarambhik-3 Sangeet Tirtha (I.Mus ), Sangeet Ratna (B. Mus), Sangeet Ratnakar (M. Mus) and Sangeet Upadhyay (B. Mus-Ed) to the successful students.

Bharatiya Sangeet Vidya Vihar ( BSVV) is a Cultural Educational Organization in India dedicated to the promotion of Music which in the last 50 years apart from giving quality education and providing job related opportunities to the students. Many students of the BSVV got successful employment as Teachers/ Lecturers in various schools, colleges and institutions in India.
